He became involved in Archery because it was and still is so challenging to him. The thought of Bow Hunting, and being able to get to within sometimes less than ten yards of an animal that you’re after back in the early days of this style of hunting made for an exciting day of outdoor adventures. After becoming acquainted with so many people that shared the same passion in the sport, Bowes and Arrows opened its doors in a small shop not to far up the road from their present location serving its customers in the repair, and advice on purchasing of all types of Archery equipment. As a member of the Fort Belvoir Bow Hunters Club, and instructor of the National Bowhunters Education Course, Robbie has been an inspiration in the involvement of youth participation in the sport. He is a sponsor for 3D Shots and Bowfishing and other events the club puts on. |
